4-H Community Forum to be Held Thursday May 15
Area youth involved in 4-H will be hosting a Community Forum on Thursday, May 15th at 6 p.m. at the Lane County Extension Service Building at 950 W. 13th Ave. in Eugene. Refreshments will be served and child care will be available.
The purpose of the Forum is to gather ideas from community members to organize and conduct a community service project to visually enhance Lane County in preparation for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field.
4-H youth will then take the ideas gathered at the forum and use them to conduct community service projects such as sprucing up local parks with weeding, planting colorful flowers or painting benches.
